In review, the University of Pretoria (well-known as TUKS) has shown staying power this past sporting week. Under the TuksSport banner, TuksCricket secured their second consecutive title in the Momentum National Club Cricket Championship, TuksAthletics came out tops at the FNB National Varsity Athletics Championship and TuksRowing placed overall winners of the 2013 National Rowing Championship.
This evening, the University of Pretoria takes on the University of the Witwatersrand at LC De Villiers Sports Grounds, Pretoria (19h30) and whilst TuksFootball is not at a champagne-popping position on the penultimate log, they have managed to play themselves to a second season in the national ABSA Premier Soccer League.
